All students returning to study in 2025/26:

Pre-Module Enrolment 2025/26 is now closed.

Pre-Module enrolment for the 2025/26 academic year has now closed.  If you have not yet engaged with module enrolment or would like to change your choices you will have further opportunities in September 2025 and January 2026 to choose or change modules.

Language opportunities

Are you interested in learning a new language? Or want to improve existing skills? Even if you aren't a language student, the Language Centre offers students the opportunity to learn a language as an optional module alongside their degree for credits (Interfaculty Modules). You will be joining students from around the University.

Students who do not have spare credits for optional modules can take an interfaculty language module as a fee-paying student or attend one of the evening classes.

Alternatively, you can also join a language module through the Nottingham Advantage Award (NAA).

How to prepare for module enrolment

If a module is showing as full please do not attempt to enrol.

Familiarise yourself with your programme of study. You need to know which modules are available to you and decide which modules you'd like to choose.

The curriculum catalogue is a useful source of information about modules and can help you help you in your module selection.

    • Watch the guidance video on how to complete module enrolment
    • Check when the online module enrolment form opens and closes.
    • If you're interested in a module which is capped (has a limited capacity) please submit your choices as early as possible because places on these modules are allocated on a first come first served basis.  Please note that we do not keep waiting lists and you are not guaranteed a place even if you are able to submit the online module enrolment form.
    • Choosing modules that fit with your degree programme is your responsibility, so it is important to familiarise yourself with your programme of study.
    • Registry & Academic Services colleagues will be in touch if there any problems which need resolving with your choices.
