Nottingham Advantage Award
The Nottingham Advantage Award (NAA) gives you the opportunity to develop essential life and work-based skills, through the completion of extracurricular modules.
It helps you develop the ability to reflect on the skills you've gained through learning activities, workshops, or your current tasks, allowing you to identify these skills and effectively showcase them to employers when applying for jobs.
While participating in modules, students have the opportunity to:
- Identify and develop new and existing skills
- Build self-awareness through reflection
- Learn how to showcase skills to employers
There are a range of module types from those containing work experience and workshops, self-directed learning modules, and modules that are designed to accredit work that you are already doing such as a part-time job or peer mentoring.
Why should I take part?
