Pre-Season Sport Accommodation

Get ready for an incredible pre-season and a smooth start to your university journey! To help you settle in, transition into university life, and connect with your new sports community, we're strongly encouraging all new students to stay in university halls of residence for pre-season.

Staying on campus for pre-season sport at the University of Nottingham offers a host of advantages for new students. It provides them with their own personal space, opportunities to meet other new students and high-quality sleeping arrangements and as well as enhanced wellbeing support. This also takes the pressure off student hosts, giving a smoother and more focused start to the pre-season period.

What's more, on campus accommodation helps new students connect with a broader community of athletes from various sports. This also makes the transition to living in university accommodation much easier. Our Residential Experience Team is also on hand to provide evening activities like game nights and quizzes, creating a more fun experience after a long day of training and sport. Students will also benefit from athlete specific catering and round the clock residential and wellbeing support, ensuring a comfortable and well-supported start to their time at Nottingham.
