Green Generation is all about engaging young people (ages 16-25) in meaningful volunteering opportunities that promote sustainability, inclusivity, and community well-being. This initiative is not only developing green skills but also boosting confidence and aspirations while supporting Bolsover District’s Community and Voluntary Service.
How You Can Get Involved:
- Try a ‘Give It a Go’ Day – One-day volunteering opportunities for those short on time, or as a taster to see if you enjoy the activity before committing to attending for longer.
- Tree Planting at Hardwick Hall: Help restore our natural environment with the Hardwick Team – 1 March 2025.
- Great British Spring Clean: We’ve teamed up with community groups across Bolsover District to arrange 6 litter pick sessions, check out where your local one is and come along for a few hours to help us keep your community tidy.
- Community Allotment: Join the team at Freedom Project allotment, get your hands dirty planting, weeding or harvesting fresh produce - 17 March 2025.
All opportunties can be found on: BCVS - plinth / BCVS Volunteering
