We encourage you to mark this day in a way that feels right.
A two-minute silence marking the anniversary of the deaths of students Grace O’Malley-Kumar and Barney Webber, and Nottingham school caretaker Ian Coates, will take place on Friday 13 June at 10am.
This may be spending time at the memorial walk, taking a moment to be alone, or planning a way to come together locally within your own teams or friendship groups.
University chaplain Grant Walton will lead a silence at the memorial walk for anyone who would like to take part in a more structured gathering.
The moment will be one of reflection, remembrance, comfort and support for the university community.
The families of Barney, Grace and Ian also invite the Nottingham community to join them for a walk of reflection, solidarity and love, starting at St Paul's Church on Lenton Road at 11.30am.
A Catholic Mass will also be celebrated in the Portland Chapel (A floor) at 12.30pm. The Mass intention will be for the repose of the souls of Grace, Barnaby and Ian on the second anniversary of their deaths. The principle celebrant will be Canon Joe Wheat with Rev Grant Walton preaching also.
