Brendan is a marketing academic interested in consumer culture and with a focus on tourism. His PhD, completed at the University of Nottingham in 2014, investigated the sustainability of tourism in small islands.

Brendan researches a variety of marketing and tourism topics using qualitative methods. He also enjoys conceptual research and writing. Brendan has been published in a range of leading journals including Annals of Tourism Research, Tourism Management, Journal of Travel Research, Journal of Business Research, and Marketing Theory.
