Lara current research focus is on business and humanrights. Before joining Nottingham University Business School in August 2019, she worked at the Alliance Manchester Business School, where she led the Business and Human Rights Catalyst Programme.  She received a first-class honours BA and MA degrees in Political Science, and her PhD in Management, Competitiveness and Development from the Grand Ecole Scuola Superiore Sant\'Anna, Italy.

I joined the ICCSR as Assistant Professor in Responsible and Sustainable Business in August 2018, having completed my PhD at the centre earlier that year.  My ESRC-funded doctoral research examined the ways in which consumers construct their agency to act ethically at different stages of the tourism experience.  Prior to my PhD, I obtained a MSc in Corporate Social Responsibility and BA (Hons) in Management Studies from Nottingham University Business School.

My research interests include responsible consumption and consumer ethics, the market-consumer interface, and  responsible tourism.   

Prior to joining Nottingham, I taught and researched at Keele University for 23 years, as a Professor of Management and Public Engagement (since 2006) and as Director of the Community Animation and Social Innovation Centre-CASIC (since 2014). I hold doctoral degrees from Oxford University and the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest.

My research is underpinned by an American Pragmatist philosophy and uses qualitative and arts-based methodologies of community engagement and knowledge co-production.  My work has been funded by the AHRC, GCRF, ESRC, EPSRC, MRC and HEFCE and explores a wide range of business and society issues such as market-place exclusion, food poverty, rural health, volunteering and post disaster reconstruction and tourism.   Working closely with a variety of marginalised stakeholders in the UK, Japan, the Philippines and Kenya, the research puts centre stage the voices and aspirations of communities which have been traditionally disregarded by main stream management discourses.  Outputs have been disseminated not only via academic publications but also through documentary dramas. virtual games and community based exhibitions and installations curated jointly with the award winning New Vic Borderlines.

I am Senior Administration Officer based in the Research Support team at the Business School I am responsible for providing administrative support to PGR Researchers working alongside the PhD team and in addition working closely with the ICCSR academic team providing research centre support. 

Lee is an early career researcher in the area of Business and Society. He has a PhD from the University of Manchester in sustainable supply chain management and has published in this area in journals such as Journal of Supply Chain Management (JSCM), Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, and Organization. 

I joined the Business School in 2019, having been an Honorary Associate Professor since 2013 and member of the Advisory Panel from 2006.  As a member of staff, I work on practice focussed engagement, and encourage the combination of academic learning with practitioner leadership and expertise.  My own areas of expertise are: corporate social responsibility; business planning, budgets, and financial modelling; and charity governance.

My recent previous employments were as an Executive Director at the Gambling Commission and Business in the Community.  I have held several non-executive director and trustee roles, my current appointment is with a wireless internet services provider.
